Supply Chain Specialist - proceed

• oversee other day-to-day supply chain logistics

• Streamline processes for order processing, procurement, and demand fulfillment to increase productivity and meet customer expectations

• Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards

• Develop and implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce stockouts or overstocks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events

• Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, managing freight costs, and tracking delivery schedules

• Work closely with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize delivery routes and transit times

• Reporting all KPIs figures through WM system and the other available tools to optimize end to end supply chain processes.

• Materials reallocation to decrease the travelleing distance and enhance the picking process

• Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain process and propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency, WH capacity utilization and reduce costs

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to supply chain operations

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE   

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or in a similar role, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make informed decisions, with communication and organization skills.

Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software, forecasting tools)
