Role Overview
The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in setting up and managing the financial infrastructure for Proceed Healthcare Logistics. This position will involve developing robust financial policies, overseeing financial planning and costing, ensuring effective stakeholder management, and delivering timely and accurate reports to DMSCO. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, logistics, and healthcare-related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Policy Development
- Design and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with corporate standards.
- Establish controls to safeguard assets and prevent financial risks.
- Develop and enforce financial governance frameworks.
- Financial Infrastructure Setup
- Lead the establishment of financial systems and tools to support operations.
- Implement accounting software, ERP systems, and reporting tools tailored to logistics and healthcare services.
- Ensure seamless integration of financial systems with parent company requirements.
- Financial Planning and Costing
- Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts to support business objectives.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis for operations, warehousing, and transportation services.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality.
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between Proceed Healthcare Logistics and the parent company, DMSCO, for financial matters.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and service providers.
- Provide financial insights to support business development and strategic planning.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports to DMSCO as per agreed timelines.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations.
- Monitor and report on financial performance metrics, including cost-per-order and profitability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CMA is a plus).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, preferably in logistics or healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, ERP implementation, and cost analysis.
- Experience in stakeholder management and reporting to corporate headquarters.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
