Job Description
- Supervising all PROCEED clients’ delivery operations (B2B, B2C, B2G)
- Handling the operational aspects of ongoing projects and leading all distribution and transportation activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNVTIONS:
Ensuring all effectiveness and efficiency in orders shipments from sources to destinations with maintaining order safety, order accuracy, adherence to quality and safety standards, on-time shipment, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Planning, communicating, and monitoring client’s shipment schedules, maintaining and reviewing on-time shipment reports for all deliveries and any related driver and delivery KPI reports/CAPA reports/ Order invoices and documents /etc.
Ensure the optimal selection and use of drivers, fleets, and resources as per Transportation Management System.
Ensure the smooth tracking operation of all company fleets, drivers and shipments and following up any software developments, updates, hardware installations and replacements with the responsible personnel.
Ensure proper implementation and work of all Transportation Management Systems, updating their database, supervising any integration work needed and contacting the responsible personnel to follow up any related concerns or issues.
Controlling and preventing any fleet misuse and ensuring proper action against driver’s violations or misbehavior.
Ensure the return of delivery invoices, their proper checking and storage.
Ensure all clients documents, delivery invoices, PODs and transportation documents are filled and properly stored.
Conducts regular inspections for the purpose of ensuring work quality, performance and productivity, and assuring that transportation staff performance is meeting established standards and expectations.
Performs personnel administrative functions (e.g. hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, providing professional development opportunities, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of personnel and ensuring department/program outcomes are achieved.
Prepares a variety of materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters, procedures, manuals, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information.
Responds to emergencies including after hours situations for the purpose of addressing immediate safety concerns.
Assesses incidents, complaints and/or accidents for the purpose of resolving or recommending a resolution to the situation.
Supervises department personnel, including hiring/termination recommendations, planning / scheduling / coordinating activities, training, advising, consulting, etc. for the purpose of ensuring that the department functions in a safe and efficient manner.
Handling any other work-related tasks and duties assigned from the management.
EDUCATION:
Diploma/bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study (Preferably in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Project Management, or similar fields).
Minimum of 3 year of experience in supply chain/logistics/project management/courier management, transportation management, transportation planning or any related fields.
Work Location: Sudair Industrial City.
