Freight Forwarding Sales and Operations Manager

This position plays a critical role in expanding our services catalog by introducing freight forwarding solutions to our customers in Saudi Arabia.

 Responsible for driving sales and managing the operational aspects of our freight forwarding services in addition to managing and completing the DMSCO shipments to be made internally not by other services providers

- mange the whole operations for the current DMSCO freight forwarding requirements instead of outsiders, this will be made internally

- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand our services and achieve sales targets for freight forwarding services.

- Responsible for sales achievement form the external customers

- Identify potential clients and build strong relationships to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.

- Actively engage with potential customers through calls, meetings, presentations, and networking events.

- Provide expert knowledge and guidance to customers on our freight forwarding services, including import and export freight, customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing.

- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient execution of freight forwarding activities, including accurate documentation, timely delivery, and cost optimization.

- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and other third-party vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation solutions.

- Prepare and negotiate contracts and rates with customers and suppliers, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

- Provide regular reports and analysis on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational efficiency to senior management.

- build the new freight forwarding business processes and SOPs

- training the operations team and help to set up this new functions

المهارات

Strong sales acumen, with a proven track record of successfully developing and closing sales deals.

In-depth knowledge of freight forwarding operations, customs regulations, and international trade practices.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written, in English.

Outstanding interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in using relevant software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and logistics management tools.

Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in freight forwarding.
